Function:

The Victron Energy active GPS antenna (GSM900200100) is an external GPS antenna designed to improve GPS signal reception for compatible Victron monitoring systems. Operating at the standard GPS L1 frequency of 1575.42 MHz, it enables GPS location data to be made available to compatible devices.

The antenna is designed for use with compatible Victron equipment, including the GX LTE 4G-E cellular modem. When connected to a compatible system, it enables location tracking through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, including geofencing functionality where supported. This is particularly useful for monitoring the location of mobile or remote assets such as motorhomes, boats and off-grid installations.

Compatibility:

The active GPS antenna is an optional accessory for the Victron GX LTE 4G-E modem. It is not a standalone GPS tracker and requires a compatible host device to provide location tracking through the VRM portal.
