This TBB Power 2.58kW 48V Complete Off-grid Solar Power System is the perfect ready-to-use kit for off-grid applications requiring a reliable and constant source of power for household appliances or industrial equipment in areas without access to or without stable mains electricity. This kit can provide power to small and medium household or office appliances such as a fridge, TV, radio, lights, computer, hoover, microwave or a kettle, with occasional use of high power appliances such as tools or a washing machine (cold wash). This may vary significantly according to the location and season.

This complete off-grid kit has been expertly designed to maximise efficiency and output and therefore comes equipped with some of our most premium quality products; including four monocrystalline solar panels and a state-of-the-art Iconica hybrid power inverter - an intelligent combination of a high efficiency MPPT solar charge controller, pure sine wave inverter and smart mains battery charger in one single unit.

6 x 430W Sharp NU-JC430B Full Black Monocrystalline Solar panels:

The six high efficiency, TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) solar panels offer significant benefits, including higher efficiency due to improved passivation and reduced recombination losses, better performance at high temperatures, and enhanced long-term stability. These MCS certified panels are perfect for a wide variety of applications, from grid-tie household systems to off-grid installations where mains power is limited or unavailable such as boats, caravans, campervans, cabins or glamping huts.

TBB Power 5kW 48V RIIOSUN-II Hybrid Inverter charger:

The RiiO Sun II is a versatile transformer-based all-in-one solar inverter, expertly designed for backup power, off-grid, and energy storage system (ESS) applications. This compact unit integrates a pure sine wave inverter, battery charger, MPPT solar charge controller, and a rapid 4ms automatic transfer switch, ensuring continuous operation for critical loads during outages while handling high surge loads with ease.

Key Functions:

1. Comprehensive all-in-one design: The RiiO Sun II combines multiple functionalities into one compact casing, including a pure sine wave inverter, advanced dual MPPT solar charge controller, and an efficient battery charger. This design simplifies installation and optimises performance in various applications.

2. High surge capacity: Engineered to handle significant surge loads, the RiiO Sun II guarantees uninterrupted operation of essential appliances during power outages, providing peace of mind for off-grid living or backup scenarios. With a swift 4ms transfer time, it quickly switches to battery power during outages, ensuring your critical appliances remain operational.

3. Enhanced flexibility: The RiiO Sun II can be configured in parallel with up to 3 units in singles phase applications, or up to 9 units in three-phase applications, achieving a maximum output of 45KVA. It features a built-in smart port for generator input or a second AC output, which enhances system versatility.

4. Dual MPPT technology: Equipped with two MPPT trackers, the inverter supports flexible system design, allowing for efficient energy harvesting from multiple solar arrays. With a maximum PV open circuit voltage of up to 250V, it optimizes energy yields, ensuring reliable and consistent performance for various installation scenarios.

5. ESS and grid-tie capabilities: The RiiO II inverter seamlessly integrates with the E4 LCD Monitor and IC-METER, unlocking advanced Energy Storage System (ESS) and grid-tie functionalities. This allows for maximising self-consumption which helps lower electricity bills through advanced peak shaving and time-of-use management. Additionally, it enables grid feed-in for utility credits, providing economic advantages for users.

6. 50A transfer switch: The AC transfer switch inside the RiiO Sun-II is rated up to 50A, allowing for up to 11.5kW of power to be passed through to the loads from the AC input when the inverter is in bypass.

2 x TBB Power 48V 105Ah 5.04kWh rack mounted Lithium Batteries:

TBB Power E4 LCD Monitor:

The TBB E4 LCD Monitor is an advanced, touch-enabled central display designed for intuitive, real-time control and monitoring of TBB’s off-grid and energy storage systems. Seamlessly connecting to the TBB NOVA online portal, the E4 monitor enables both local and remote management, giving users complete oversight of their energy systems.

This kit also includes 2m positive and negative 50mm2 tinned copper battery cables with loose ring terminals for connecting the inverter to the batteries, a 150A circuit breaker for use between the hybrid inverter and the batteries, 2 x 10m solar extension cable with MC4 connectors to connect to the existing 1.25m of solar cable fitted to the solar panels and 2 x IMO 25A DC isolator switch for use betweeen the inverter and solar panels.

Please note: due to our warehouse arrangements, the kit accessories may be shipped from a different warehouse to the solar panels, hybrid inverter and batteries, and therefore delivered in a separate package.

The panels are covered by up to a 25-year product guarantee provided by Sharp Electronics. The hybrid inverter, batteries and LCD Monitor are covered by a 5 year manufacturer warranty. For more information please refer to our Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event that a defect is found and confirmed during this period, we guarantee that we will repair or replace defective items (at our discretion).

In addition, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 99% of nominal power in the first year after purchase and less than 0.4% degradation of nominal power each year after until 30 years after purchase, for a minimum of 87.5%.
